Natalya Nyn is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of mindfulness, the interplay between technology and nature, and the healing power and resilience of the earth. She creates sculptural artworks in papier-mâché, as well as murals. In addition to visual art, she engages in comedy, film, theater, and fashion, using these mediums to express her reflections on existence within the female body and the myriad expressions of love.
Natalya Nyn was born in Moscow, Russia, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Natalya curated and participated in the exhibition "Love Games" at Image Gallery in Brooklyn, New York, which raised funds for Planned Parenthood. She has also showcased her work with Fem Factory, General Assembly, The Garment District Alliance Gallery, and in two alumni exhibitions at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2020, she was honored with the Made in NY Women's Fund.
Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, Italian Vogue, Glamour Germany, and Time Out Magazine, and has appeared on the TV shows "GIRLS" and "High Maintenance."
